Nutella and Strawberry

As I sit here and type, I’m selectively picking and choosing Reese’s peanut butter eggs from my kids Easter baskets. It’s night time and they’re asleep so they can’t object. Plus I’M THE MOM AND I SAID SO.

Plus, my thighs need the extra padding.

Just kidding. My butt does.

Anyways, our Easter was lovely! Hope yours was too. We spent it with my husband’s family. Both my kids love love love their cousins, so it was fun to watch them all interact. Plus I was able to cuddle my newest niece which is always good for my motherly soul plus it tends to makes my ovaries go into hyper-active-hyper-drive. Which is kind of hilarious because my husband is 3000 miles away. #armytraining #Iwantallthebabies #notgonnahappen

Odds are I’ll get pregnant when I turn 42 when we’re sending Brooke off to college. Gulp. Funny joke, universe. Funny funny joke.

I’m starting to get the sweats just thinking about it. Yup, that’s TMI. You’re welcome.

Sooooo….ANYWAYS.

Is it a wee bit ridiculous that I’m posting a deviled strawberry recipe the day after Easter?

Don’t answer that.

Strawberries + nutella is something everyone should enjoy every hour of every day. Forreals.

Nutella and Strawberry

It’s kind of a simple idea and not much of a recipe, but it is something that is totally amazing and worth the time to make {all whopping 15 minutes}.

These are great appetizers, light desserts, or perfect snacks for parties. Wouldn’t these be adorable at a baby or wedding showers? I think yes. And they require no cooking! Sold.

They would be the first treat to go, guaranteed.

So, yeah. Whether you have the munchies or just need a little sweet treat, this is the thing for you TODAY!

  1. Nutella + strawberries is never EVER silly. Per usual, you crack me up! We have our first niece on the way, and I suspect I’m going to have similar feelings!

  2. Now these are the kind of “deviled” treats I can get into. Deviled eggs are totally not my thing, but when you turn them into a dessert with strawberries and Nutella, I certainly won’t be turning them away!

  5. Oh Yum!!! I add a bit of whipped cream to my nutella (makes a Moussey texture), and using gigantic, enormous Strawberries fill those puppies with it! And for the “I don’t like nuts” crowd, top them with sprinkles! I have a love/hate relationship with you Lauren. My mouth loves your creations, my jeans/hips hate you. If it involves chocolate/cookies/candy/sugar/tasty I can’t help myself and have to make and eat-the-entire-pan!

  6. Love how simple these are! I have made deviled strawberries before but they had a mascarpone filling.

Thanks for all these wonderful recipes. I can’t wait to try them. We mostly stay away from desserts, which I will try when the grands come to visit. The rest will be tried on my husband. Very creative which is what I love. Never make “most” recipes exactly like stated. Do something to make them uniquely your own. With breads and cakes and candies, most people will find success by sticking pretty close to the recipe. Have fun and enjoy any recipe that gets your attention! Cooking should be fun and not work!
