Taco Salad Pizza {with Doritos!}

Taco Salad Pizza with Doritos! From www.laurenslatest.com I’m still coughing up a storm and feeling lousy, so I’m going to make this quick. A few months ago, I made a mexican-style pizza, put doritos on it and threw it onto the interwebs.

Then you all went a little cray cray asking me for the recipe.

Then I forgot about it.

Then 7 weeks later, I remembered and made it again.

Then I forgot about it.

Then a week later, I found the pictures and decided to post the recipe. IMG_0356 So, sorry if you’ve been waiting for this recipe. I’m pregnant and slow and forgetful.

But, I got it up here, so you’re welcome.
Taco Salad Pizza with Doritos!! From www.laurenslatest.com
This recipe is the bomb dot com and doesn’t take very much time to throw together at all!

I used my Fail-Proof Pizza Dough, threw on some taco toppings {basically, everything mexican-ish taken from my fridge} and baked it up. I added lots of fresh veggies overtop and served. LOVE fresh ingredients on top of a piping hot pizza!! And Doritos. That was a little unexpected twist that I now am head over heels for. Who knew Doritos on a pizza would be so amazing. Use what you have on hand and it’ll be just as tasty!

Anyways, this is our new favorite pizza and have a feeling it might be yours too :)

Enjoy!

    This looks amazing. I love the addition of the Doritos. Would regular tortilla chips work just as well or do the Doritos make the recipe?

    I’m so sorry to hear that you are under the weather :( It sucks to get a cold when you are pregnant, especially towards the end. I think this pizza would help immensely! Take care.

    I love Taco Pizza! It’s made a little differntly at the pizza joint we get it from though. They put refried beans on the crust as like the “sauce or glue” for the toppings. Then cheese and taco meat and bake that. Then top with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, doritoes and salsa! It’s delish!

    I made this for dinner last night. I don’t make home made pizza, that’s usually my husband. I followed the dough recipe and pizza recipe exactly and it was delish. Will make this again for sure for the family. Thanks for a recipe a pizza novice can handle.
