 S\'more Doughnuts

Are you ready for a ridiculously insane, delicious and easy recipe? Cause I have some doughnuts that will fit the bill! {I’ll advise you to change into your stretchy pants now!}

Some s’mores got it on with some doughnuts in my kitchen the other day and made babies.

Sweet, delicious doughnut babies.

 S\'more Doughnuts

Friends, meet my newest concoction: S’more doughnuts.

Please excuse my S’more addiction lately. I just can’t get enough! {See this recipe and this recipe for proof!}

These are evil. And only take 4 ingredients: biscuits, marshmallow fluff, hot fudge sauce and oil. Total no-brainer recipe! Luckily, when I made these, my nieces and nephews were over to help me eat them all! They couldn’t keep their hands off of them and all 16 were gone under 20 minutes. S’more doughnuts got rave reviews all around!

So, here’s what you do- {1} heat up your oil in a big pot {2} cut your biscuits in half lengthwise and fry {3} fill with marshmallow fluff {4} top with hot fudge sauce.

See what I mean? No brainer!

Try these out and tell me what you think! You know they are calling your name! Ha! 🙂

Happy Wednesday!

S’more Donuts

This S'mores Donut recipe is made from biscuit dough, marshmallow fluff, and hot fudge sauce! 3 simple ingredients with incredible results.
servings 16 donuts
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 16.3 oz biscuits 1 can, {I used the Jumbo Pillsbury Flaky Layers Original}
  • 7 oz marshmallow fluff 1 container
  • 11.5 oz hot fudge sauce 1 jar
  • oil for frying such as canola or peanut oil

Instructions

  • Pour about 2 inches of oil into a large pot. Preheat oil to 350-375 degrees.
  • Pop open can of biscuits and cut each biscuit in half lengthwise. {This is why I use the flaky layers–it’s super easy to just peel each biscuit into two equal halves…no knife necessary!} Fry 20-30 seconds per side or until a deep golden brown. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Repeat until all doughnuts have been fried.
  • Place a filling tip into a piping bag and fill with marshmallow fluff. {If you don’t have a special filling tip, just use a round, wide mouth metal one.} Fill each doughnut with fluff. Because the store-bought fluff is so thick, use a lot of pressure while filling to make enough come out. You want the doughnuts full!
  • Once all doughnuts have been filled, microwave hot fudge sauce until warm and loose. Empty out onto plate. Dip the tops of doughnuts into the chocolate and place on cooling rack. Serve.

    First, I would cut this doughnut in half. Then, I would place it over my open mouth and squeeze all of the marshmallow filling out. Yum!

    Biscuits as doughnuts? Brilliant! I love how easy this looks, and my mouth and thighs are having an argument right now about whether or not to make these and eat every single one tonight. =)

      You’re going to want to eat every single one, guaranteed! I can’t believe people haven’t heard of making doughnuts out of biscuits! I thought everyone knew! Guess not…

  12. Kelsey H

    Holy Yum!!! Can’t believe how easy it sounds to make these… that is VERY dangerous as I do not have nieces and nephews to feed these to, so instead will have to eat them all myself!
