Pregnancy Update: 20 weeks + its a BOY!

20 weeksHello! As many as you know I’ve got a burgoning belly with a baby inside. Well, I went to the doctor and this little one is a BOY! We are so thrilled and nervous I cannot even tell you. We would have been thrilled for a girl too, but now we’ll have one of each!

We went to the doctor on Monday morning for our ultrasound, and this little stinker had his legs closed and his hands completely covering his face! It took a few pokes to get this profile picture and to confirm that he was in fact a boy. He was probably annoyed with me, but whatever. I’m his mother and I’m allowed to do whatever I want to get a good picture! LOL!

In this picture below, you can see his profile with his mouth wide open and his hand on his way to his mouth. I’ve got a thumb sucker {just like his Dad was!}.

baby boy I’m feeling just fine now. The more pregnant I get, the better I seem to feel. Maybe it’s because I can stomach more food and am past the whole nausea thing. If I overdo it, I get exhausted but other then that I’m feeling great. Which reminds me–do I seem small, big or average? I know you’re only seeing me from the side and from there I look pretty tiny, but I’m wide too. With my last pregnancy I gained 50ish pounds. This pregnancy so far I’ve gained 11. Maybe that has something to do with it? Every baby and pregnancy is different…I just didn’t expect them to be THIS different. All very intreaguing to me.

For the holidays, we’re visiting my parents in Canada. Our three flights paired with the 3 hour time difference definitely made me more than tired that usual but, I’m quickly adjusting and am feeling better today! My husband will join us next week. Insert sad face here. I don’t mind being away from him, but I wish we were together all the time. Can’t someone pay me to be with him all day? C’mon! You know you want to!

Anyways, I’ll be blogging from here until a little after Christmas! Which reminds me: I have a bunch of giveaways happening right now that you’re not going to want to miss! So far, you can put your name in the hat for:
