Mom’s No-Fail Banana Chocolate Chip Cake

Banana Chocolate Chip Cake

1/2 cup butter, softened

1 1/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups mashed ripe bananas
3/4 cup milk + 1 teaspoon vinegar
1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9×12 glass dish and set aside. In large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Mix in eggs, vanilla and mashed banana. In a small bowl, mix all dry ingredients. Alternate dry ingredients with milk and vinegar. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into prepared dish and bake 35-40┬áminutes, but check after 30.
