Chewy Jumbo Double Chocolate Candy Cane Kiss Cookies

Chewy Jumbo Double Chocolate Candy Cane Kiss Cookies Final 2

Dear Santa,

I’ve been a good girl this year. Not an over-achiever, but I’d say pretty good. I know I could do better…blah blah blah… so I’m not expecting much from you. Plus I’m an adult and I know you make the rounds for the kids. But hopefully {since my wish list isn’t very long} I’ll see those 3 gifts under my tree Sunday morning.

As incentive to come to our house, I’ve enclosed some photos of the cookies I will have here waiting for you.  They are called Chewy Jumbo Double Chocolate Candy Cane Kiss Cookies and I’ve purposely made them with extra chocolate, extra candy, extra love and packed them full of calories….’cause that Mrs. Clause likes you burley.

Here is what I will do on the evening of the 24th:

{1}Gather my ingredients–>do you guys get Scharffen Berger up at the North Poll?

Jumbo Double Chocolate Candy Cane Kiss Cookies

Yield: 8 jumbo cookies

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • heaping 1/2 cup chopped Candy Cane Kisses
  • 2 oz. semi sweet dark chocolate chunks

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray muffin top pan with non stick cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Cream butter and sugar in a stand mixer until light and fluffy. Stir in egg and vanilla. Scrape sides and mix again. Stir in all dry ingredients until just incorporated. Stir in chopped kisses and dark chocolate by hand. Spoon about 1/4 cup batter into each cavity and flatten lightly. You want to be careful not to over fill!! Bake 13 minutes or until edges are done and middle looks matte but still soft in the middle. Cool 5-10 minutes in the pan and remove to cool completely. Serve warm or room temperature with milk.

  14. I made these with dairy-free margarine and subbed the kisses and chocolate pieces for candy cane chunks and they were so so good and best of all completely dairy free!! thanks lauren!!

  15. Can I make these on a cookie sheet and smaller size (to get more to pass around?) I would imagine so, but thought I would ask!
