I’m giving away a signed copy of Joy the Baker’s new cookbook to one of you lucky people.
I’ve been following Joy for quite some time and love her recipes, writing style and humor. She talks just like she writes, so it was so fun being able to meet her in person.
This cookbook is bright, colorful, fun, happy and most importantly full of amazing recipes that are creative, fun and delicious.

I love cookbooks. But usually there are very few recipes I would actually eat. I’d have to say my favorite is a good housekeeping one. not because of the recipes it offers though. It was given to my grandmother when she and her husband of 50 years got married. It has her notes written in it for how they liked it, how she changed things around, and what she might try next time. I love that.

The cookbook I most treasure is “The Joy of Cooking” It is my favorite because my step-Dad (a wonderful man–he married my mother when she was a widow with five kids) gave it to me. It is not the cookbook I refer to most often, however.
I love all of my community (school, Church, Grange) cookbooks that I’ve acquired throughout the years. and, I really like my “Brand Name” cookbook that I bought years ago for less than $3

My face cookbook is the one my mom and grandma put together for me. My grandma died a couple years ago so, needless to say, seeing those recipes in her handwriting pretty much makes me cry when I use them but I treasure it so much. Plus, I’m so grateful that I asked her to write some of these recipes down so that I can continue making them for my family.
