Cheerios Cereal Bars

Do you get through half a box of cereal and then never end up finishing it? Well, that happened to my family last week. Talk about wasting food! Never finishing cereals that you get sick of. WELL, let me tell you, I turned our boring cereal into a great after-school snack. Cheerios Cereal Bars! These little babies were gone within 48 hours…and there are only 3 of us! Temptingly devilish and easy as pie! 10 minutes start to finish-promise!

Main Ingredients Needed

You only need 10 minutes and 10 ingredients to make these Cheerio Cereal Bars! Here is everything I stuffed into these babies:

  • Marshmallows – these add sweetness and stickiness.
  • Butter + Caramels – for flavor and for caramel flavor.
  • Vanilla – to flavor.
  • Salt – to balance the flavors.
  • Cheerios – I had the Multi-Grain Cheerios but you can use whatever you have on hand.
  • Salted Roasted Peanuts + Pretzel Sticks – some crunch and saltiness.
  • Banana Chips – these are dehydrated but are still nice and sweet.
  • M&M’s – for some chocolatey goodness.

this one I have to try! minus the peanuts since we have an allergic little girl but I'm assuming it'll still taste delicious! I like your crock pot recipes too – i tend to lean towards those ones since they're easiest – if you have any more please share!
