Strawberry Basil Pretzel Bites with Salami and Parmesan from www.laurenslatest.comYou guys, my trip to Austin was so so fun! Exhausting, but fun! {I think bringing my infant had a little something to do with it!} I’ll be posting details all about my trip soon, but for now, how about a PretzelCrisps recipe?

I’m sort of in love with these little bites because they are sweet, salty, crunchy, creamy and are easy to throw together. Strawberry and basil is a very summery combination and I love how they taste together. Throw in a little salty salami and creamy parmesan and you’ve got it MADE. Here’s how you make them:

IMG_0063Start out by dicing some strawberries. Try to use the sweetest berries you can find!

IMG_0065To this, add in a little chopped basil, salt and pepper.

IMG_0068Now, we’ll grab some Everything flavored PretzelCrisps and lay them out on a serving platter.

IMG_0070Top with half slices of salami

Serve these immediately and watch them disappear! I loved the flavors and textures of this appetizer and thought you would too!  Stay tuned for a fun recap of my weekend and a healthy recipe this week! Have a great day, friends!

I don’t think I’ve ever commented on your blog even though I’ve been reading it forever, but a different food blogger had me re-think my thoughts on commenting so I think I’m going to do it more often, starting with this.
YUMMMM… all of these flavors are WAY up there on my list of favorite things. I love the everything pretzel crisps – my kids do too. We all love strawberries, and we (probably weirdly) all eat a lot of salami too. I never ever would have thought of combining these things, but I CANNOT wait to try this! Thanks for the idea!

I was so glad to meet you last week, Lauren! Too bad we couldn’t chat more, but hopefully we’ll meet up again at another blogger event this year! Your salami & strawberry bites are beyond brilliant. I’ve got to try these sweet-salty snacks for my next happy hour party!
