New Features of Lauren’s Latest

As you may have noticed, my site got a little face lift! Things are a little different than they originally were, but definitely for the better!

connect w me

1. You can find me on different social media sites and follow me where you’d like! Just click on those icons just above the search bar. If you click on the envelope icon, you can sign up to receive email updates every time a new recipe is posted. You can also find me on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest. And Instagram too, that icon just isn’t included.

search 2. My recipe box is organized differently….hopefully in an easier way to find what you’re looking for! You can search by name, category or ingredient. I hope this makes things a little easier for you all!

print save 3. AND, finally–the last feature I wanted to bring to your attention is the ability to save or print your recipes from laurenslatest.com.

To print, simply click the printer icon in the top right corner of each recipe. That should bring up a new window with just the text from the recipe inside to print.

You can also save your recipes for later to an online recipe box {and even create grocery lists with one click!} . I’ve teamed up with Ziplist to make this possible. Basically, it’s an online service that powers recipe boxes and shopping lists you find online at other websites and blogs like: AOL’s KitchenDaily, MarthaStewart.com, WomansDay.com, RecipeGirl, Cookin’ Canuck, Simply Recipes and now Lauren’s Latest. Best of all, you can save recipes from any of these websites, including mine, and have them stored in one place. No more hunting around from site-to-site to locate your favorite recipes. Totally awesome!

recipe box You can also access your online recipe box from Lauren’s Latest by clicking “Recipe Box” located in the top header.  You can access your recipe box and shopping lists from any partner website too, as well as from ZipList.com. They even have a  free mobile app so you have what you need to plan meals and grocery shop wherever you go.

So, that’s it! Hopefully you guys find these new features useful and maybe save you a little time. Have a great day!

I love the site changes! However, I just wanted to point out that you might want to rethink the white font on the blue background in the footer, as it’s a little hard on the eyes.

    Other than that, looks great!

    Hi Lauren,
Love your new site, great job! I like the nice balance between white space and color. I recently changed my design also, and love it but I think it could use just a little more color.
    Congrats! Di
