Hotel Monaco {Salt Lake City, UT}

IMG_0037 As you all may know, I spent a good portion of the week in Salt Lake City, UT hanging out with my family and meeting up with some bloggers. While there, I was lucky enough to stay in Downtown Salt Lake at Hotel Monaco. It was a fun and funky hotel that made me feel at home! Come take a peek at my room!

IMG_0006 I got into my hotel room Monday afternoon. Pretty nice looking room, right?

IMG_0001 This couch was fantastically comfortable!

IMG_0003 Oh and I was seriously dying over all the cool lamps like this one!

IMG_0031 I had a hard time resisting all these treats under the tv.  A pregnant woman’s dream come true!!

IMG_0016 Moving into the bedroom , I slept in this huge and super comfy king sized bed which was divine if I do say so myself! I got to use all 4 pillows…it was amazing!

I also texted my husband a picture of this headboard and tried to convince him to buy me one. He did not concur.

IMG_0019 There was also this cool mirror next to the bathroom that I saw whilst i was getting up close checking out the headboard. Peekaboo! –>yes I have a child. Why do you ask?

IMG_0013 The bathroom had a taller sink which was fancy but made it hard to maneuver around because my belly is large and forever in my way.

IMG_0010 Of course there were these cute mini shampoo, conditioner and lotions too. I’m a little obsessed with miniature things…

That night I almost ordered room service (namely a big fatty plate of fries) but decided against it and opted for breakfast instead.

Screen Shot 2013-03-15 at 9.30.14 AM The next morning, I got eggs, sausage, potatoes and an English muffin. It was awesome to wake up to someone knocking on your door with breakfast on a tray. Gordon, take note. Cough cough.

IMG_0039 That morning, I took my time getting ready and then looked around the rest of the hotel. I loved their lobby! Cool furniture, huge fireplace, fresh flowers, cool chandeliers and more mirrors.

IMG_0038 Overall, I had a lovely stay, enjoyed the staff and had a great visit. Thank you, Hotel Monaco! I hope to come back soon!

    Hey Lauren – wasn’t sure if you knew about it, but we actually have a Hotel Monaco here in Portland as well! It’s another Kimpton property, so owned by the same company, and is also AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL AND AWESOME. It’s great for a night away when you and your husband need it!
