Homemade Cookie Mix + Cookie Party Pack GIVEAWAY {ARV $150}
I’m not the biggest fan of Mondays, but there’s literally no way around it. Even if I were to just pretend today was Tuesday, everyone would think I was crazy…and you, my lovelies, would not get a blog post and that is just not right. Because I have an awesome recipe to share with you!
Basically this is an 8-in-1 kind of recipe…plus another GIVEAWAY because I love ya! Yes ma’am. ANOTHER ONE. {See the first one here and the second one here.} I told ya! You’re going to be bombarded with giveaways this month. Insane and ridiculous ones too. Copious amounts of fabulous kitchen gear will be up for grabs. You’re going to want to enter every. single. one. I’d recommend signing up to get email updates from my site to notify you of every new blog post so you don’t miss anything. Just plug your email in HERE and you should be good to go.
Now, onto the recipe. This Homemade Cookie Mix is one of the easiest things to make in the world, tastes good, can magically become 8 different kinds of cookies and makes awesome gifts for teachers, friends, etc. It took me literally 5 minutes to whip up a batch in my stand mixer and another 10 to pretty them up. Add a few of the recipe variations on cute recipe cards and voila! A perfect homemade gift.
Speaking of variations, how good do some of these cookies sound?
-Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies
-Classic Gingersnaps
-Frosted Banana Nut Cookies
-Frosted Chocolate Drops
-Orange Coconut Cookies
-Peanut Butter and Jelly Cookie Bites
-Peanut Butter Cookies
-Pecan Cookie Bars
My husband is a sucker for peanut butter cookies, but I think deep down he’s a sucker for ANY cookie. The holidays do that to him. Maybe if I make enough of these, it’ll make his belly jiggle like a bowl full of jelly making me feel better about this round cut I’m sporting these days. #yaright #inyourdreams #myhusbandisrocksolid
I digress. ANYWAYS.
Here’s how you make this Homemade Cookie Mix:
In a large bowl, measure out some flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and butter flavored crisco.
Stir it up until it’s all crumbly and that’s it
So simple, right? Seriously 5 minutes and it’s done.
You can either store this in air tight containers in the freezer or…
make them all cute with twine and jars!
Fun, simple and yummy! Recipe from HostaCookieParty.com. Here’s the printable:
