Your friends and family will ask for this amazing no-bake Butterfinger Pie, with cream, Oreos, and Butterfingers in every bite!IMG_0123So, today is Pi day….and I somehow magically made a pie. How did that happen? I’m not quite sure.

I really didn’t plan this, but you are welcome to think that I did.

Yes, of course I planned this and have a superbly clean house with ridiculously well behaved children and my life all planned out and ‘together’.

Truth be told, I’m unorganized. To like, the 187th degree. I like to think I’m organized, but my husband would object. Loudly.

Is my level of unorganized chaos normal?

Don’t answer that. Let me live in denial.

Speaking of denial, I like pie.

What?

(Nice segue, Lauren.)

You know what got me thinking about pie? Nooooo, not Pi day.

Butterfingers. And Oreos. Clearly my mind works differently than probably yours does. Kinda like solving a 1+1 math equation but with food. Like, in my mind butterfingers + oreos = pie. DUH! #obviously

So I made you all a pie. And then I froze it. And all was good in the world.

This recipe is SO simple to make. You just need a whole lot of cream, Butterfingers, Oreos and time for this to freeze. That’s it! The whole thing tastes like a super creamy Butterfinger blizzard you can slice. So amazing!! My friends saw the picture on instagram I posted a few days ago and have been asking/texting me for slices. That’s how good it is!! People go crazy for this and you will too 🙂 It’s really such a showstopper. If you are wanting to impress someone, this is the ticket. Guaranteed they will swoon. Ready to make your own?

Ok, let’s do it:

IMG_0580Start with some Oreos….we’re making the crust!IMG_0582Grind the cookies up in a blender or food processor, filling and all, to make fine crumbs. IMG_0587Pour in a little melted butter and stir it up to moisten everything evenly.IMG_0584Now grab a pie plate….since we’re making a pie…. and make sure your name is on it because you’re not gonna want to share.IMG_0593Pour in the Oreo crumbs and press into the bottom and up the sides.IMG_0595Like so. I didn’t go up the sides completely, but you totally could.IMG_0553Now bring on the glutton. You need 7 whole Butterfingers. Cray cray!!IMG_0557Unwrap 6 of them and chop them up real nice! IMG_0560You want them pretty small so they’re not too hard to crunch on after they’re frozen. Set these aside.IMG_0540Now, whip up 2 cups of heavy whipping cream with a little vanilla. You want ALLLLLL 2 CUUUUUUPS. Gluttony, yo.IMG_0543Take half out of the bowl to set aside.IMG_0546In the other half, stir in a little powdered sugar to sweeten it up a touch and scoop this out to another bowl. This is going to be the topping 🙂IMG_0551Soooo, now we’re going to make a little pudding. 3 cups of milk to two boxes of instant vanilla pudding.IMG_0563Once the pudding sets up, stir in all those chopped Butterfingers and then carefully fold in the unsweetened cream.IMG_0598Pour this filling into your pie plate. There’s going to be a lot, so feel free to leave out 1 cup and just eat it. I definitely loaded ALL of mine up on top.IMG_0601Then add that sweetened whipped cream on top of this crazy pie. IMG_0603Then if you recall, there’s 1 butterfinger left. Chop that up and add it on as decoration. IMG_0604Does this not look like the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever seen? OMG. Put this into your freezer and let it freeze completely through, 6-12 hours.IMG_0146Then when you’re ready to eat, remove it from the freezer 20-30 minutes before serving. This will make it a little easier to cut. Slice into pieces and serve 🙂

Isn’t that easier than you thought? Ya, just as I suspected! Be sure to print/save/pin this recipe. You’re going to want to make this asap!

Here’s the printable! Enjoy your weekend, friends!

We made this for an Easter dessert, it was fabulous! We decided against freezing it, just had it from the fridge and it was great. Thanks for the recipe!

So probably a silly question, but do you cover the pie when you freeze it? I would assume you’d need so that the top doesn’t dry out while it’s sitting in the freezer. But doesn’t it get all over whatever you cover it with? Thanks! It looks amazing can’t wait to make it.
