These Cheesy-Stuffed Garlic Butter Crescent Rolls are a simple appetizer: brushed with homemade garlic herb butter, filled with mozzarella cheese, rolled up, and baked! Nothing better than carbs and cheese!

Cheese Stuffed Garlic Butter Crescents

Last week I made these Cheesy-Stuffed Garlic Butter Crescents as a little afternoon snack and mama-mia were they good. Carbs and cheese, ya’ll! This is almost like a stuffed crust pizza minus the pizza part.

This recipe is one of the ‘repeat offenders’ at my house because you use store bought crescent roll dough, cheese sticks and melted butter, spiked with fresh garlic and italian seasoning. So so simple to throw together that my 8 year old knows how to do this 99% on her own.

Delicious as a snack, great to throw into school lunches, the perfect accompaniment for a holiday dinner and obviously the ultimate cheesy garlic bread for your spaghetti or lasagna night.

Basically, it’s a yummy situation that you want to be a part of. That is all. Enjoy your long Thanksgiving weekend!

Below, I’m sharing some photos of the process (so simple!) but be sure to read through and print the recipe card at the bottom of this post.

I make these all the time now since I first saw these on Pinterest a couple of months ago. I always double the recipe because they don’t last long in our house. Super easy, fast and delicious! I pretty much substitute these for garlic bread now anytime I make an Italian dish. Thank you for sharing!

These would be great even without the cheese. My husband likes is garlic bread without the cheese. So I will make half with and half without when we have pasta.

Hi, I don’t have cheese sticks, BUT I do have 8oz of mozzarella cheese… could I cut that into similar pieces like a cheese stick and it’d have the same effect?? (New cooker/Baker here) haha I’m making dinner tonight and just wondering! Thanks!

Made these last night with ravioli. Worked perfectly. Thank you Lauren. Consider this the “virtual” version of the hand wave in the rearview mirror. You didn’t let me into traffic, but you did lead me to a delicious dinner 🙂

I put some pepperoni rounds on before the cheese, then rolled them up. My grandchildren loved them. Thanks for such a great recipe…..

So followed the recipe, and they were well done on the outside and still raw on the inside 🙁 next time will put no butter inside!

The recipe calls for salted butter but the picture shows unsalted butter. Does it make a significant difference, and which should I actually use?

Can you use regular mozzarella cheese for this? Just cut it into shape and hope for the same result? Possibly Monterey Jack would be good too!

I went fabric shopping with my mom – always fun. Then to my brothers for a swim and bar-be-que. Wonderful. Warm enough to swim in Oregon is always a treat! Would have liked to watch the Roy Webster Labor Day Swim in Hood River but didn’t make it this year.

Uuum, I basically had a quiet weekend. My daughter and I went to lunch on sunday and did a little shopping. Moday was a very quiet day with my cooking me a hamburger (on the stove). Just too much trouble to open up my big grill just to cook one hamburger. I can’t wait to try the Cheesy-stuffed garlic butter crescents. I just happen to have everything in my refrigerator so i intend to try this recipe TODAY. I would be thrilled to win one of the cookbooks. Recipes are my hobby. I love to read them and try a lot of them. So, here’s hoping I am a winner. Hope you have a wonderful week.

I decided to cook some special dinners for my family that i normally wouldn’t have time for. Grilled some beautiful ribeyes that were out of this world! Spent the rest of the weekend relaxing and spending time with my family. Sad the summer is over and the kids are returning to school, I always miss them like crazy even though they drive me nuts when there home all day LOL

I went to my 40th high school reunion in Aiken SC on Friday. I spent the rest of the long weekend helping my parents as they are 86 and 87 and need extra help right now since a recent illness for my wonderful dad. I have a hard copy that came to NY after I left for SC. I would always welcome an extra to share with my son.

These seem too easy to look so good. Can hardly wait to try them. I love your recipes. As others mentioned.. Loved garlic and cheese.

Youaskedwhat wedidthis long weekend? I don’t qualify for a prize but here goes. My grandson went to pay football in Ireland. On Saturday we watched him and his team play called the Pride from an American military high school . This was the finals and my grandson’s team won despite the fact that they only practised American football 4 times. We went to a restaurant here in Winnipeg, MB which streamed the game on an 11 foot screen. Many parents and friends were there. Since most of the kids are new Canadians or quite poor, the parents could not join the boys. It was so exciting to actually be able to watch the game live..
On Sunday we went to see a Winnipeg Goldeyes game. They played a Fargo , ND team. We lost, but it was a lovely day and the game was close. On Monday,we went to the airport to pickup th boys. I was interviewed for TV and was so emotional that I was crying with pride. Then we went to my daughter’s home and had pizza that my granddaughter and her husband had bought on the way home. It was a grand weekend.. Tomorrow my grandson starts school and we all return to reality. But the memories will keep me warm this winter… You know what the winters are like in Manitoba!

Cheesy rolls are the best and the fact that these are so easy makes them so much better! YUM!

Perfect for football games or cozy fall dinners!

I followed the recipe … except … I added 1 TBS marinara or pizza sauce and 2 – 3 pieces of pepperoni and made pizza rolls … OMG so good
