Stuffed Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough in a bowl

Main Ingredients Needed

First things first, you’re going to need cookie-making ingredients plus all of the add-ins. If you can’t find a particular ingredient, don’t worry I’ve got great substitutions too. Here’s what you’ll need to make Stuffed Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies:

  • Peanut Butter – we are starting things out right here with smooth peanut butter. You could use crunchy if you prefer that better.
  • Coconut Oil – or the same amount of softened butter. More moisture and flavor.
  • Granulated + Brown Sugar – both are used to sweeten but brown sugar is specifically used to make soft cookies.
  • Egg – for structure and texture.
  • Vanilla + Salt – both are for flavor.
  • Baking Soda – this is our leavening agent.
  • All-Purpose Flour – this fills out the cookies! Be sure to measure your flour out correctly, fluff, scoop, and level. If you have no idea what I’m talking about see here.
  • Oats – you can use old-fashioned oats or rolled oats however I used quick cooking oats!
  • Chocolate Chips – can you really go wrong with more chocolate, my husband says no so here we are.
  • Mini Caramel Apple Milky Ways – these are seasonal around Halloween time so if you can’t find them don’t worry about it. Just use regular mini Milky Ways.

Has any viewer actually made these? I was looking for a comment from someone that made them and wanted to hear their opinion before I make them.
I guess I’ll just give them a go but I’m using another type of mini chocolate candy. We don’t have those in Canada.

I couldn’t find those candies anywhere but I used Milky Way Midnights and Milky Way Caramel and they were a huuuge hit! Thanks soo much for all of your great recipes!

  4. Erika - The Teenage Taste

Do cookies get any better than this? Seriously, I think these would compare to those Oreo-stuffed chocolate chip cookies! And that’s saying a lot, considering I am addicted to those things! 😛

  5. Hayley @ The Domestic Rebel

Holy yum. I’m madly in love with these bad boys. Oatmeal, peanut butter AND those ridiculously tasty caramel apple milky ways? Can I move in with you?

  6. Katy

I can’t tell you how sad it makes me that we don’t get different flavoured Milky Way’s here in the UK. These sound amazing! I wonder how they would taste with regular old bars instead.

  7. Anna @ hiddenponies

How could anyone not love these?? I haven’t seen these chocolate bars in Canada, I wonder if they’ll be making an appearance.

Oh my goodness… You are totally KILLING ME with these recipes in way that my hips are angry but my mouth and tummy are in the middle of having their very first blog crush. They are head over heels, I think. I found you through pinterest and probably pinned half of your pumpkin recipes which my daughter is super grateful for. Thank you sooo much and I just wanted to let you know that you are the bomb… A pumpkin filled one. And if you had a lurker that looked at almost all of your pumpkin titled recipes the other day… That was me. Not a random crazy person. Or at least, not random to me. LOL. Anyway… Our household is grateful for your mad recipe skillz even if our scales are a lil unhappy. :o)
