BHF Seattle + a giveaway! {closed}
What a whirlwind of a trip I had to Seattle! It was jam packed with festivities, parties, bloggers and FOOD! I’m going to tell you a lot of what I did now, but will write some more in-depth posts about some amazing restaurants I went to.
I arrived Wednesday evening…a little earlier than most because I was invited to tape some videos for the National Pork Board and Costco. All day Thursday, that’s what I was up to. Hair, makeup, food styling, taping etc. etc. There were some other bloggers there and I was SO happy to get to know them better
Here’s Jaden on set with Jenny and Amanda. They made it look so easy!
Then it was Jessica and my turn. Ahhh! I was sweating like no other! Hopefully the camera didn’t pick that up! These videos will start popping up in October in case you were wondering. Oh, and will be printed in Everyday with Rachael Ray magazine….yeah. No biggie! Someone pinch me.
After Thursday, I could relax a bit and enjoy Seattle! So that’s exactly what I did. Pike’s Place is one of my favorites places ever. These flowers were AMAZING! $10 for a huge bouquet. They were all so pretty!
Pike’s place also had a bunch of produce stands…
And of course lots of fresh shellfish!
Tina, Jessica and Shari went to Lowells for lunch in Pike’s Place which was awesome. Highly recommended
This sign makes me want to go back…..I love Seattle.
Just above Pike’s Place is this long alley way full of shops and restaurants. Isn’t this so cute?
We also made a stop to a restaurant called the Pink Door which had the most amazing grilled cheese sandwich I’ve ever had. You all MUST go there and get this sandwich. Does this not look like it’s to DIE FOR? Just a simple grilled cheese and tomato soup. Words cannot explain this ooey gooey-ness. I’ll be doing a separate post on this sandwich alone….that’s how good it was.
Through the weekend, we got a lot of weird looks for taking photos of all out food. It’s ok. We’re used to it. We are food bloggers after all.
Once morning we went to Top Pot Doughnuts….holy amazing! This will also be getting it’s own blog post in the next few days.
Something super cool: I got to meet Ben Ford {aka Harrison Ford’s son}. He’s a chef that works with Dole. Hi Ben!! Hi Dole!!
Sunday morning, Julie, Maria & Josh, Kelley, Heidi, Jenna and I went to a place called Serious Biscuit. This little beauty was DELICIOUS.
Poor little Caleb was just waking up from a nap….luckily, I was able to snap a quick photo of those big eyes!
Overall a fabulous weekend
Stay tuned for lots more photos and reviews of different restaurants I visited.
